Anyone ever consider making a 121s poker tourney? We could all just go on one of the free sites. Make a private table and see who the best 121s poker player really is. It could be for free or we could all put a little wager on it too. Would just need to pick the right time and right night to do it and I'm sure most who would play wouldn't mind downloading the same program to play it in.

I'd like to have a shot at Rattman and Infinite for sure...

sounds mega fun!!!

Or we can just create a regular table at one of the free sites and we can play anytime we're free..

I use bet365 at the moment to play free poker and freeroll tourneys..

The time difference will be a prob but I'm sure we can find a way.

I'm all-in!!

I may download the bet365 software if everyone's keen... no doubt there will be a host of Victorians coming to the party.

Watch out for me on The Turn Thumbs up

I'm in...I've been in the cash on two freerolls at 365...got to 159 of ~7500 on the weekend in a $1000 freeroll. I thought about a 121s tourney ages ago, but never got off my ass to do anything about it. But it would be awesome!

Could put a bounty on some of the guys here Mr. Green $5 extra to who knocks out the big guns...

I think Full Tilt is a place where people can set up personal tournaments. I am not a member there, so I am not 100% sure...maybe someone could check?

Bigmac, if you're serious about this, you'll need to put together a proposal. Otherwise you're just gonna get 3 pages of "Yep, I'm in" but nothing will actually happen.

Things to include:

Date of competition and time - I recommend just doing it as a once off game to start with. We can always look into something regular later once we've got some experience. The time is going to be a problem but as long as you organise it such that no-one is going to have to play at 4am, it should be alright.

e.g., right now its 4pm in NYC, 9pm in London, 6am in Sydney... I would think that starting in in 2-3 hours from now would make the most sense... The Aussies would need to get up early (but not too early) and the English would need to stay up late (but not too late). Anyhow, just something for you to ponder.

Buy in and payment method - I recommend something small but significant enough to make things interesting, perhaps US$40. For payment method, Paypal and cheque are the best options.

Game type and platform - NL Hold-em of course! As for the site, you'll need to research that.

Rules as to what happens to no shows....

Payout schedule....

Anyhow, just some thoughts. If/when you come up with something, post it up in the Forum Competitions forum. I can give you mod powers in there to facilitate things.

Cheers, Coldie. Thumbs up

I'd definitely consider it. I currently play some on pokerroom, so it'd depend on the site. I'm not sure I want to screw my computer over and download any software from a site.

Free sports betting site. No risk - win real money!

CD,

I think on Full Titl we can specify the buy in and make it such that in order to register, you need to pay it. That would leave out someone have to collect it. And this way, the winner(s) would be paid immediately

I can set up private tournaments on Pokerstars, so if anyone wants me to, I could set up a tournament for 121s once we agree on a date and time, and post the password on this forum. It would have to be a minimum buy-in of $10 though.
