When placing bets, Im wondering...do you people tend to...

1) Go on gut instincts
2) Research the numbers
3) Go with what someone else tells you

For me, betting is instinctive more than anything else - rarely do I look at numbers before a game unless my 'gut' tells me that the matchup is a difficult one to pick. In 7 years of gambling online, my way has been fruitful in terms of overall winnings.

But Im just wondering...do you usually go with your instincts or research the games before you play them?

Pros,it's more gut call than anything. NCAA's I do research, look for trends, and all that. It's just easier to make $$ in college fb in the long run compared to the NFL,at least I think it is

It should be easier to make money from College football than the NFL if you know what your doing. Basically if you know alot about a 'lesser' sport you probably know more than the line-maker. Let's face it every meathead knows a bit about the NFL but not everyone is very knowlegeable on College football. Also line-makers will take less care and spend less time on markets that are less popular so are more inclined to make mistakes. If you know alot about Croatian 2nd Division Basketball for example, you shouldn't be working for a living!
