I didn't get to see this game, but followed the live scorecast. It must have been an awesome game to watch, especially for an Eagles fan. I can't believe they came back. They were done and dusted. McNabb was freaking amazing, playing with a hernia, he still manages 369 yards passing and 3 TDs. Meanwhile, usual suspects Owens and Smith combined for well over 200 yards receiving and 2 TDs.

What awesome character this team showed.. They are starting to make me believers. I think they can go all the way this year, if they can keep McNabb healthy. Perhaps they are best to let him have the surgery and take some time off in preparation for later in the season? What do y'all think? Who will fill in for him?

This team is a whole new breed...

Teams usually like to pass the ball 55-60% of the time and run the rest. Well...The Eagles passed the ball 48 times today and ran just 17.

On the season, check this out...

184 pass attempts
79 rushing attempts

Or, in terms of percentage...70% of their plays are PASSING! That is nuts!!!

I was fortunate enough to watch the entire game, and the comeback all started because of one play...Trent Green handed the ball off to Larry Johnson, but Johnson never really had a full grip of the ball...An Eagles defender met Johnson a few yeards behind the line of scrimmage, and the ball popped forward a few yards and was recovered by the Eagles...after that moment, the Chiefs seemed as if they had no idea what to do, especially since Tony Gonzalez had 2 RECEPTIONS FOR 5 YARDS!!! That stat alone I a big reason why the Eagles won this game...

In terms of what the Eagles would do if McNabb went down, I just hope that it doesn't ever come to that...If it did though, I'm not sure if it could be as bad as their kicking game has been so far!

No, I think the surgery would keep him out for the year since it would be in an area (around the stomach region) that would require a long recovery time.

Besides, he looks fine out there...he appears to be able to play through the pain and, as I showed in the post above...he his throwing the ball 45+ times per game...so I say, as long as things remain as is, he should forget about the surgery until the offseason!

McNad is a machine. He's powered through with injuries before. A little knock aint gonna keep this gun out. As for how much pass orientated the eagles game is. Damn, we all love it. Passing = scoring = excitement.
Thats what the crowds want to see, high scoring exciting games.
Bring on a Eagles Colts Superbowl.

Football however is a running game. If you can run the ball, you don't need to pass. But are time starting to change?

I havn't seen the game yet, but if gonzalez was shutdown, hell thats DEF a good reason that would have helped eagles win.

GO PHILLY! Smile

I have just finished watching the week 3 game of cheifs vs broncos.
Was it much of a surprise for a close win by philly after Broncos SPANKING cheifs last week 30-10. Their form was shocking, i know they are a good team, but philly are also very strong.

Are Denver Broncos the real deal too??
