Hi all,
Unfortunately due to the actions of a few banned members (who are signing up to spam other sites) we've been forced temporarily disable the PM function.
If you notice new members signing up just to bag our forum (even after making a bunch of on-topic posts) please let one of the moderators know by creating a quick thread "Calling mods" or something to that effect.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused but we really have no other choice at this stage.

We've all noticed that there seems to have been an influx of 'new' users. They generally haven't taken the time to register their username's as Proper Names and they should be very aware that the administration see everything. For the record I've not recieved any P/M spam in at least twelve months, however I appreciate the need to disable the function momentarily and will do my utmost to identify these hoons in The Bog whenever they surface.

Give it a week or so. Hopefully the very sad individuals responsible come to their senses. The one positive to come from this is that I feel vindicated in banning them, this is exactly the sort of devious behaviour that got them the ass in the first place.

no pm's  Some of the best banter I have is by pm I haven't had any spam ones either CD. Do you have any issue with us putting up an email contact? I have a couple of forum mates that I keep in touch with that I would like to have my email addy instead

LL just give it a week or so and the PMs will be back up. Not a big fan of people posting their email addys on the forum. There's also other issues such as spam bots that sweep our forum looking for them (and if you get on their list, you can pretty much kiss your email account goodbye).
