A very dominate game from Dirk. OKC just didn't have anyone to go with him when he posted up. Durant single handidly kept the Thunder in the game and Westbrook proves my point that PGs should not be throwing up that many shots. In saying that, OKC were still in it until the final few minutes of the game. If OKC can keep the ball out of Dirk's hands, this series could go either way. "I'm going to see the horse doctor today. Dirk and Durant were both on fire, that's what playoff basketball is all about, the best of the best raising their game to another level can't wait to see game 2

It's a rare treat to see two players have epic performances in the same playoff game. I don't remember anything like that since Celtics/Cavs game seven in '08 when Pierce and Lebron went back and forth. This SHOULD have been an all-time great game; instead it was only a very good game, because Joey Crawford is a dick and has to make himself the star of the game by blowing the whistle every 20 seconds. That guy is a joke. Props to Dirk for one of the most flawless individual performances I've ever seen. I think the Thunder will push the Mavs to seven though because there is just too much pressure on Dirk to be great every game.

I picked Thunder over Bulls (for real!) before the season, so I have to stick with it. No way the Mavs lose if their bench keeps playing like this, but they're due to cool off. Barea and Peja suck.

Home advantage has been lost in both series, looks like it could be a Miami/OKC final unless their are more upsets.

Dallas @ Oklahoma City - Money LineSurely Dallas is worth a go here? I see this as more of a toss up than anything. OKC is 6-1 at home in the playoffs but Dallas knows they need this game. They go down 2-1 with another game to go in OKC and it's over for them. I look for them to put it all on the line in this game and pull out a close win. All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

Nice call Pook.
What do you make of tomorrow's game?
Apparently since like 2006, the winner of game 3 has made it the finals.

Alright, Game 4 tonight. Once again I like Dallas. Dirk was terrible in game 3 and they still won in OKC. Dallas has a chance to pretty much end the series here and are great value on the ML. All Dallas has to do is stay afloat the first 6 minutes or so and I really like their chances. Dallas @ Oklahoma City - Money Line All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

Thunder starting off strong here.. but in 2 of the 3 games so far this series, the team that jumped out to the early lead ended up getting reeled back in and lost. Hoping that stays true again today and the Mavs win to go up 3-1

At this point, I still want the Heat to win the championship. But I would not be dissapointed if Dirk won his first. I don't know if I have ever seen a player make bigger shots down the stretch of a game like Dirk just did. Going to be a great finish to the year no matter what. Any of the 4 teams would make great champions.

Sick of hearing about Dirk "deserving" things, he got smoked the last chance he had at a championship. Good on him if he gets one, but the only player in the final four that "deserves" a championship ring is Jason Kidd, end of conversation, the rest of them need to play their arses off and earn it.

When Durant hit the 3 to put Thunder up by 15 with 5 mins to go, I stopped watching and went to study... then walk past the tv 20 mins later and see them playing an OT Don't know what you're smoking jvalles, but Dirk's carried the mavs to 11 straight 50+ win seasons, he's had huge playoff performances and beat some great teams, is owed a title by the refs after their terrible job in the finals series with the Heat. Dirk's probably the best player ever to not have won a title at this stage, he's a better player than Kidd in his prime imo, and warrants all the talk about deserving a title.

Hey man, I have nothing against Dirk whatsoever, nobody deserves a ring, they need to win it. Definitely not the "best player not to win a ring", horseshit. Heaps more better players than him who have gone without a title.

I was actually thinking about that very thing a week ago, and you can make a strong case for Dirk.
The only other players that come to mind are Karl Malone, Stockton, and Barkley.
Malone and Stockton were two top 50 players who couldn't get it done playing together, Barkley played on talented Rockets and Suns teams and couldn't get it done, while Dirk's always been the only superstar on his team. The only team to ever win a championship with 1 superstar were Olajuwon's rockets for their first ring, and the Pistons when they arguably had no superstars. So if Dirk can do it this year he'll be in very elite company.
But he should've already had his ring anyway from a few years ago, that Mavs-Heat final is the second most poorly officiated series ever where the refs seemed to have an agenda and made blatantly bad calls in favour of one team (the Lakers-Kings series earlier in the decade is the worst officiated ever).

After that prob comes the likes of Vince, T-Mac & AI...AI & Vince got to the finals and were unlucky, T-mac was a star but played with hopeless teams.

Steve Nash is another one that u can make a case of one of the all time greats that hasn't won a ring.
