It's a rematch! Damn Heat eventually did make it all the way to the Playoffs after all that was said and done this season. Mavs have been THE most dominant team so far this playoffs, with Dirk being the Playoffs MVP so far as well. Everyone knows about how Mavs choked the last time they played Heat with Wade & Shaq. This time round Wade has 2 new friends on his side...though I must say Dirk has looked absolutely crazy so far, and if he continues to play like that in the Finals...he might finally put the memories from their last Finals appearance to rest... Prediction: (well, more of hoping than predicting here) Mavs 4 Heat 3

Can't see the Heat losing. Don't think Heat really have an answer for Dirk, but I guess they don't need one if they shut the rest of the team down and Wade, Lebron & Bosh score 20-30 pts a piece. Not to mention Miller and Haslem getting in to form at the right time.

The worst thing that can happen for the NBA is the Heat winning a title first time around. If so, I have no doubt we'll see more and more "super teams" and small market teams and those that lose out on putting one together will suffer. It will be a disaster for the league. Kind of like the good ol' USA right now. The rich get richer and the poor and now even the middle class continue to get shit on. Most are just too fucking dumb to realize it... All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

There have been "super teams" forever though. Duncan Parker Ginobili Kobe Gasol Odom Shaq Wade Shaq Garnett Allen Pierce 80's Lakers and Celtics 90's Of course da Bulls I think that covers the champions from the past 3 decades anyway. Yes, the Miami Heat "superteam" is much more "super" in my opinion when it comes to the best two playres han all of those teams. But Bosh is a good player, but not even close to as good as Garnett in his prime, and I'd say Odom was probably a better in his prime than Bosh too. Hell, Jordan had Pippen and Rodman, which isn't as much help as some of these teams, but could Jordan have won all of his championships without Pippen? Some, but not all.

I'm not saying their hasn't be teams like this, what I'm saying as that we're going to see more of them. Several teams will load up with 3 or more top players and fill out the rest of their rosters with scrubs. This will make for 5-10 dominant teams and the rest left to stick their fingers up their ass as regular season will become pointless. Hopefully it doesn't happen that way but what fun is a league where only a few compete? Fans lose interest and teams lose money. The best thing for any sport is to have parity. I think we are in for a big step backwards. All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

Dirk-a-dirk, got work-a-worked! Apparently he has torn a ligament in a finger and will be wearing some sort of stabling device for the rest of the finals.

Very tightly fought contest up until the forth quarter where James and Wade took the game by the scruff of the neck. Unless Mavs change something up offensively to beat this Heat defence, I can't see the Mavs making this a 7 game series. "I'm going to see the horse doctor today. How the horse became a doctor, I'll never know." Dwight K. Schrute.

New found respect for the guy with all he's done this playoffs. Single-handedly fought til the very last shot in today's game...just unfortunate not to sink it.

Dwyane Wade has really stepped it up and shown why he is arguably the best player in basketball. The Mavs need to find a way to slow his penetration if they want to stay in this series. Game 4 odds: Miami @ Dallas - Money Line

I've seen it several times this season and last season where he will make a sloppy pass that leads to a fast break for the other team. But that shot of his around the ft line where he leans back in a mini fadeaway, it's pretty much unguardable and is his bread and butter. One of the best offensive weapons in the NBA imo.

2-2! All the news is about Lebron's low scoring night...but Dirk hits the clutch layup in the 4th quarter...again! Lost count of how many crucial late-4th quarter shots he's made this playoffs. He's really out to win it this year...probably knows it's likely his last chance.

I have yet to watch a single live minute of the finals as I just can't stand to watch Miami. All I have watched is the replay of the final few minutes of game 2 and will likely do the same with game 4. To be honest, I didn't really expect this to be 2-2 at this point but you have to give Dirk and Dallas credit. Game 5 will be the deciding game and I just might have to tune in for that one... All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

Neither can I, but it's been nice watching Lebron choking it up and the Heat blowing big leads in the 4th. ESPN had a highlight which pointed out that Dirk has scored 44 POINTS in the 4th quarter of games throughout the series...vs 9 points from Lebron... 44 POINTS...the guy has been playing crazy
