ok, so the last time the pga championship was played at Atlanta Athletic Club, Highland Course in Duluth, Georgia was in 2001, david toms won. so, last major of the season. glories last shot the end of the season, tiger is back, rory played well over the weekend. adam scott with *ahem* tiger's former caddie won the bridgestone invitational last night. peaked to early i think, but you never know. *ducks for cover* i'm putting a bet on ricky fowler, was impressed by his performance at the Open Championship, besides the two bogeys, he did quite well all day on the course. i think he has a future as a major champion, and he's definitely one to watch, especially after his second at the bridgestone over the weekend. 2nd place. jason day another guy, ok he came 30th at the Open, but his 2nd place finish at the masters and at the u.s open, he's on everyone's radar, he came 10th last at the pga championship. and tied fourth at the weekend. luke donald, grrrrr heres the thing, missed the cut at the Open Championship, best place in a major this was the Masters for fourth place, he's won the WGC this year and the scottish open just before the Open. he's been consistent this year with 13 top 10s which include his 3 wins. i think he's got a shot tiger woods, ha!! excuse me, while i love watching him play, it's his 2nd tournament back and with a new caddie and the fact he's probably still a little rusty, can never count him out of a major, especially after winning it 4 times. martin kaymer, usually don't put the defending champion on my list of my potential winners, but the quiet German can surprise us all. never once have i heard him complain about the pressures of being a major champion. rory is on my list as well, now that he's back on favourite beloved greens and course in the states. i could get into a rant, but i won't, i still think he's a fantastic player and has the potential to win here, and he's needs to shut some of the commentators in the states up who are apparently giving out. lets hope he can leave townsend twitter gate behind him. also garcia, getting better as time goes on come on garcia!!! __________________ 100% irish and european and darn proud too the ryder cup is coming!!!!!

I tell ya,nothing like a playoff and a leaderboard filled with no names and golfers that most followers of the game can even name Keep knocking Tiger and all his issues, but get used to golf going forward. One giant snore fest

get a lot of one-offs in the PGA. They don't even broadcast it free here anymore because it has little relevance... They should demote it out of the four majors and put in the TPC or Australian Open.... never understood why USA should have three of the four majors...the Aussie Open has had some great players winning it... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Hot Pies and Mustard

i watched 1st round and after that meh. pga championship not my favourite and it's usually the one where the nobodies win and then very rarely heard from again. now there are some goodies who win it. my bets went day missed the cut, rory injured his wrist, but still kept playing admirable, but he finished at +11 100% irish and european and darn proud too the ryder cup is coming!!!!!
