Plus a player on the outer like Roberton TRADE COMPLETE: Sam Reid (WB) off to GWS for a compensation pick. Wont be huge compensation. A later draft selection id say

Hopefully a mini flow on effect from the trade because its been boring as bat shit so far Hawthorn LOSE: First, second and third round picks to Adelaide Hawthorn GAIN: Gunston PLUS Adelaide's 4th and 5th round draft pick http://www.afl.com.au/ne...sid/124995/default.aspx

Bombers are talking about being on the cusp of signing a gun midfielder? Heard a rumour about jack redden and also remember bomber staff talking to gaff earlier in the year. Any ideas?

Any ideas? Brad Ebert??? Renouf's gone to the Power Hawks get the Power's pick 33 WIN/WIN situation for both. If Power are willing to give up 33 for Renouf than surely a first rounder or at least there 2nd rounder for Ebert isnt that much of a stretch for them. Not sure if trading Renouf was the best idea by the Hawks but. You never know what you'll get out of Bailey with his body

ESSENDON is believed to have launched a bid to lure Gold Coast midfielder Josh Caddy back to his home state.
The Bombers hope to trade for the Brisbane Lions' end of round one compensation pick, received last year for the loss of Michael Rischitelli to the Suns.
They would then offer that selection, plus their first round pick (No. 19) in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft, to Gold Coast in exchange for Caddy.

Sounds like this is the way it will pan out. Complicated trade but i hope it happens. This Ebert deal will end up stalling majority of trade period for West Coast. I really wanted to chase some extra speed from the trade table but doubt we will get time for it

what a dickhead
why make a press release through freo saying your only going to freo 18 hours later go to melbourne ^ This. Money talks i guess. His got a young family that he obviously had to consider and factor in. After being in the media fish bowl that is Perth for a few days maybe his decided he wants out of it. Bold move by Clark to state he wants to go to Freo than a day later turn his back on them. Good on Neeld and crew for presuing him but. Was a bold and audacious move but its paid off so far. Clark the new FF for Melbourne. Watts at CHF

last day's trades . Bulldog Josh Hill finally ended up at Weagles for pick #49. Brad Ebert officially got to Port for pick 28 and 49 (Eagles gave up pick 45, too.) Retirees Luke Power, Chad Cornes and Dean Brogan got to GWS for late draft picks. Collingwood gave up pick 47 and got pick50 and a Qld aboriginal youngster Peter Yagamoor from Suns. Brisbane picked up retired ruckman, Ben Hudson from Bulldogs and Jordam Lisle from Hawks for draft picks 70 and 29 respectively. Richmond's Mitch Morton is off to Sydney for pick 79. Hawks picked up a young defender, Jarrad Boumann (197cm/90kg) from GWS .. cost of a third round draft selection (56). ... a lot of draft picks and compo picks traded/upgraded too and a few speculative juniors moved around. 29 trades in all ... see http://www.afl.com.au/Of...abid/10490/Default.aspx
