I'm leaning that way, too - Blues had a shocking NAB plus without a few keys like Waite and Jamieson and Judd not 100% yet. ^^^^^^^**************************^^^^^^^ Kochie, KT, Ken, KO ... getting it right! #weareportadelaide

Think Warnock's missing as well. Add Laidler who got injured in the pre season and possibly Duigan as well. Think the Demons can beat the Lions but i dont know if this would be a real "upset". North vs. Essendon should be a cracker game

Agree on Tigers looking the goods against Carlton, though after watching them get belted the past 4 yrs on opening game I wont be surprised if they go down either Dees will open as favourites against a Brownless Brisbane in Melbourne If it was QLD Lions probably be favs Port will be big underdog against the Saints and may be some value. They looked decent in the NAB (take that with a grain of salt I know) and may catch the Saints napping at home

Tarrant, Krakour Maxwell (Not 100% sure on him), Brown, Beams, Mccaffor (spelling), Wellingham , Johnson, Didak Has been doubt over Jolly and Ball as well, but I hear they will line up Injuries is my bet as to why they will start favs

"Pies have our number atm" Disagree man, they beat us by 3 points in the Prelim cause - lets face it - we choked. Before that we played 1 game against them where we got smashed, but we also fielded one of the worst teams Ive seen run on the park because of massive injuries. Before last years games hawks have won 5 of the last 6. Cant count early game last yr because it was Box Hill playing.

Hawks and Pies both battling injury. Will save my tip till teams come out tonight. Hawks are struggling if McCauley's first ruck but. They'd want there a couple of there mids to be closely watching and reading Jolly's tap work Blues taking a risk with Laidler tonight but his a required player tonight with Miller and Riewoldt spending majority of the match inside 50 and Vickery floating through. Not sure how damaging big Ivan would be as a forward. Dont think Carlton defenders would lose sleep over him as a forward option. Henderson's in for a long night maybe. They will miss Jamison. Arguably there most important player (more so than Judd because of Carlton's midfield depth) Hampson's a big target for the Tigers backs to beat. Big, strong, takes a good grab. Bats out of his league with the women though mosquito fleet Betts and Garlett will be on there toes at his feet Just think Carlton's missing to much class. I've fallen into this trap before in R1 and been done like a dogs dinner but i'm going for Richmond in a tight one Looking forward to seeing Ellis from Richmond (kid has huge wraps on him, particularly his disposal), Morris from Richmond (dominated SANFL) and Lucas from Carlton

If the Tiger talls, especially Vickery, had held the overheads they still may have won...also their supposed new stars, Ellis and Morris, were non-existent...Morris looked a bargain buy after his pre-season...but was a dud...I felt they played a man down in defence all night... Carlton were not as good as the score indicated...Gibbs and Kreuzer were the stand-outs...thought Judd was relatively quiet but he still managed a reasonable DT score???? Cotchin was best on field overall...in a not very good game from either team... expect the standard to improve tonight... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Hot Pies and Mustard

Henderson filled in well for Jamieson I hought - gives them another key defender (swapped from Brissie for Fev - could become the worst trade since Groom/Mcleaod from Freo to Adelaide ) ^^^^^^^**************************^^^^^^^ Kochie, KT, Ken, KO ... getting it right! #weareportadelaide
