Feck this. it's a month to go, but i don't care, there too much excitement going on people. tiger is back on form, mickelson is coming out to play, rory is world number one and has been soo consistent in the last 11 tournaments it's been madness. i shall return with a review later. bring it on. seriously people views on the masters, who do you think is gonna take it this year? 100% irish and european and darn proud too the ryder cup is coming!!!!!

feck this. i know it's two weeks away and there's another 2 tournaments. so, lets begin. luke donald-world number 1 again, won over the weekend, has been consistantly good this year and all of last year and won the money list over in the states last year and on the european tour as well. he hasn't really been consistent when it comes to the masters though. tied 3rd on his first time out in 2005, and two other top tens which includes his 4th last year. in 2011, he won twice and came 2nd and 3rd twice and had a couple of top tens all the way and that was just in the pga tour. On the european tour, 3 wins, which includes his WGC, he's had 7 top 10 finishes on the european tour. last time i checked, he was at 14/1, it might have changed now since the weekend. but i think donald has a good shot this weekend to ether winning or at least getting close. because i believe he has got the goods to get the job done, if not then he will along with westwood, and monty have that tag of world's best player to never win a major. rory mcilroy, ireland's and northern ireland's favourite son!!!! returning here will be a big deal for him considering what a year he's had. certainly no one will forget watching him on the final round of Augusta. i still can't bring myself to watch that final round, it was a painful back nine. but he's come into his own since then and shown the world how mature he is for a 22 year old. on the european tour, 16 top tens, and that's just on the european tour. with two wins, one being a major, the u.s open was a touch of class, his win at the honda classic was another touch of class play, along with his 2 other top 3 finishes, along with the 4 top ten finishes he had last year on the pga tour, just goes to show how good a player he really is. i think there could be a showdown between donald and rory. wouldn't be surprized if the lords of augusta actually put these two together for the thursday and friday morning group. westwood, his time is not up, IT IS NOT UP. westwood when he gets going is one of thee best players on the tour. with nine top tens on the european tour between last year and this year. he's come close, he nearly had it in 2010, but lost out to mickelson. and he was world number 1 last year for 22 weeks before luke donald took it off him, so i believe he has a good chance. normally i mention Tiger Woods, sure he looks to be coming back into form, but he's dealing with "injuries" among other things, although to be honest when he's not on form he still gets a top 5 in this tournament. so he might be a good bet for each way, last time i checked he was 13/4 or something crazy like that. seriously the bookies are pretty much still making him favourite even though he's playing not at his best. mickelson, has two top 2 finishes, one of them being a win. i have a good feeling about mickelson this year. ok he hasn't been consistent, but when it comes to majors when he's feeling his best, he is good. i'm putting another one. jason day, tied for 2nd last year at the masters and another tied for 2nd at the u.s open. and tied for 10th at the pga. the only thing he hasn't be consistant, he's got a couple of top 25 finishes so far this year. don't think he'll win, but he might be worth a bet each way. i'm putting a bet on this guy. there are my thoughts on who might do well for the masters. any one else want to step and give opinions. __________________ 100% irish and european and darn proud too the ryder cup is coming!!!!!

The elder statesman, Fred Couples shoots 67 and shares the lead on day 2, at -5 with Dufner. A big group on -4 inc McIlroy, Oosterhuisen, Bubba Watson and Garcia and overnight leader Westwood who lead going down the 18th at -6 but finished with a double bogey. Best Aussie is Badderley on -2 still in it. Tiger on +3 may be too far away. ^^^^^^^**************************^^^^^^^ Kochie, KT, Ken, KO ... getting it right! #weareportadelaide

Competition for temper tantrum of the day won easily by the pussy-cat...though Stensen flirted with the prize early...but for sheer number of dummy-spits, Eldrick wins... no-one is as obnoxious as the petulant pussy... hope his next two rounds are as awful and as entertaining... come on Rory, Lee, Bubba or dear old Fred...great examples of sportsmanship, every one of them... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Hot Pies and Mustard
