Essendon v Sydney the hardest pick...will wait on teams...

Pendles out for Pies with tibia cracked...but with Daisy back in form Pies should still beat Dees...

Cats possibly w/out Kelly...but Blues are struggling w/out Murphy...Cats win...

Tigers unstoppable...

Saints should be able to contain Suns...even if no-one contains Ablett..

Port's run will come to an end...sadly...

So what's the hot tip between Carlton/cats and essendon/Sydney

I'm thinking cats, and essendon just because home ground

Cats coz Carlton are playing lazy bruise free football, Essendon need lift after last week's hiccup ... both could be close.

Blues were better this week ... but Cats just had too much class finishing in front of goal.

Swans dominated on the scoreboard for 3 qtrs with Bombers butchering the football and found themselves 47 points down at 3/4 time.

Led by Watson Davey and Dempsey they fired up and fell short by 4 points.

Dempsey had he ball just outside 50 and looked to play on, umpired called it then the siren went.

Great fightback but just came up short.

Just saw Buddy's tackle on Port's Paul Stewart - was def a sling IMO ... he can consider himself very very lucky not be to sighted for that. In saying that, Port's Matt Thomas did similar last week and not even a free was paid ... dont know if Buddy's resulted in a free but it should have - as the ball spilled free and the tackle continued.

Josh Hunt stepped deliberately on an opponent's hand and only gets a fine? what? MRP say its a 'stand on hand' not a stomp so offence is less ... deliberate is deliberate.

This year the MRP seem to work on if no-one is injured then its ok, rather than take action againts the actaul incident itself.

Pies doing very well at 9-2 ... but Didak cops another injury ... possible hammy/groin. Add Thomas and Pendlebury out, Cloke and Dawes under performing so all kudos to the coaches and players ... esp Blair, Beams and Sidebottom who have stepped up.

... so far ...
