Cold Dog wrote:Are you guys into those Comedy Roasts? I saw a few of them in the past week, they're pretty hit and miss. Apart from a few laughs, I would say overall 6/10, stay clear. Crude and repetitive humour. I saw the Sheen and Rivers episodes. My current favourite show is HOUSOS. If you are open-minded, give it a go. It's so wrongly hilarious. There were a couple of good ones...I saw the Pam Anderson one they got Tommy Lee in there to make things really awkward so maybe that made it abit funnier...

Watched all 3 seasons in about a fortnight! lol cool each season is pretty short though hey, only 6 eps or something? I read that there will be several characters not returning for season 4. Only one left from the original series will be Curtis. There's 3 new characters being added, hopefully they can pull it off.

Can't wait for the next season to see wait the fall out is. Finished watching Housos. Absolute pisser. Didn't realise they're making a movie too. Hopefully that's not a stinker. Just got fisnished with Parks and Recreation. I can't believ I hadn't watched it berore. One of the funniest shows I've seen in awhile besides season 1. Ron Swanson is my new hero. "I'm going to see the horse doctor today. How the horse became a doctor, I'll never know." Dwight K. Schrute.

Oh and True Blood is back, still seems like too many stories going on at once which is a big negative in an hour long show. All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

We were watching True Blood, but tapped out last season when they brought the fairies and all that other beyond dumb shit in. Shame to, as I love Christopher Merloni, but can't stomach the show anymore

True Blood has had some ups and downs, I liked the 1st ep of the new season but the whole Maynad thing from S2 dragged on a bit, and agree the fairy stuff was getting slightly dodgy too hahah Still worth watching though as a filler until some other great shows come back on: Breaking Bad Season 5 (final season): July 15 2012Sons Of Anarchy Season 5: September 2012Dexter Season 7: September 30 2012The Walking Dead Season 3 (16 eps): October 2012Misfits Season 4: Late 2012Spartacus: War of the Damned (final season): January 2013Game of Thrones Season 3 (10 eps): TBA? Curb Your Enthusiasm Season 9: TBA?

Cannot wait for Sons & Breaking Bad to start back up
SOA is going to be real interesting with the way it ended last season and there's new blood coming in actor wise
Breaking Bad is supposed to be the bloodiest season by a mile

Just started watching Breaking Bad. Up to episode 5 in season 1. Don't ask why it took me so long. Thankfully netflix has the first 3 seasons All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

The River is still worth watching if you like the horror genre, I enjoyed it.

Yeah, the River was pretty good. Even though it ended with a cliffhanger for an additional season it did for the most part wrap up the original story. Fringe and Game of Thrones are probably two of the better science fiction series out now. I haven't seen Falling Skies though, which seems like it would be worth a watch at some point. All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.
