well-deserved win by GWS...they gave Pies a tough time last week so not deflating showed some ticker... great scenes in the dressing-room after.... If I wasn't a dyed-in-the-wool Pies girl I'd follow GWS...like their efforts and their fresh-faced youngsters...and even their colour scheme... they can be my Sydney team... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Hot Pies and Mustard

Irregardless of the result of the Pies/ Saints match, it has to be the worst umpiring display I've seen all year...or for a couple... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Hot Pies and Mustard

I tipped GWS and Freo and Suns and Lions ... I was confident we would fold ... at least I'm not in Adelaide. GWS are going places - I'm on the bandwagon, too I was seriously going today until I was made redundant in my job here 2 weeks ago ... thankfully I missed the game and have a job again! ^^^^^^^**************************^^^^^^^ Kochie, KT, Ken, KO ... getting it right! #weareportadelaide

cats and swans are our only dangers this yeat on the money again schoenmakers has to go get gilham back in for fucks sake pull your finger out clarko His the whipping boy at Hawthorn Schoenmakers. Just like Swift is at West Coast. Your forgetting he helped dominate Cloke and Dawes not that long ago. The form Hawkins is in he was always a chance to tear the game apart and he is proving to be one of if not the most improved key forward in the AFL. Geelong's waited for him to emerge and his starting to pay dividends. Even just his confidence. A couple of years ago he would've shanked that for certain and not looked calm at all goig into the shot. He looked a bit uncertain when he first marked it but than decided he needed to kick that goal as his team's pruimary forward. And he dobs it Schoenmakers vs. Gilham will come up time and again before the end of the season. Schoenmakers has the height and athleticism that Gilham doesnt but Gilham's the pure defender that Schoenmakers isnt yet. Needs to add some bulk still The main thing he did wrong in the last contest was not having front position. If he had front position he could've saved the game. There last 4 scoring shots were all behinds. 1 rushed, 1 hit the post, 1 touched and a goal that Bruest normally would have snaffled he missed. I dont think he'll get the blame for the loss but Puopolo's effort in the final minutes with the ball inside Hawthorn's 50 was just stupid and to an extent selfish. He kicked the ball out of the air when he could have collected it, composed himself and made it good night nurse for the Cats INSTEAD he kicks out of the air (any goal would've been pure fluke), it doesnt score at all, Geelong collect the footy and run it the length of the field without Hawks touching it. Result is the match winning Hawkins goal

So far i'm 5 out of 6 with my tipping from the completed games. Only game wrong was the derby. Don't get me wrong the better team won but after seeing a replay some of the umpiring was just diabolical and West Coast had far too many passengers. Doesnt help when your skipper and best by far our best key positon defender is tucked away in the coach's box either
Good on the GWS boys getting up for Sheeds and getting there first home win. I backed them in to win just wish i'd put some coin on it. Any first coach to fall markets would have Primus as a very short priced favourite i think
Port's in trouble. There's unhappy players amongst the ranks. Boak's uncommitted beyond 2012. So is Chaplin by the sounds of things. Its only rumour at the moment but Pearce might well go to
