Aussies are off to England and Ireland for a batch of one day Internationals ... very strange mid year tour?

Patrick Cummins is back in but two worrying signs are Mitchell Johnson and Steve Smith re-included in a 15-man squad (Lyon and Forrest are two keys out of the team that played ODIs in Windies last month but are on stand-by for this tour to cover injuries-maybe they are over there playing County?)...

Smith is in as a back-up batsman and leg-spin option according to Invers? When did Smith suddenly find form and favour?

Reading the story Smith and Johnson are in contention for the T20 World tournament later this year, so are included to get some practice?

I can't believe Brett Lee is still battling away. Surely it's time for him to step away. Now that he's slower, he's a run of the mill 'quick' now. He can't generate the bounce as he doesn't have the height ala McGrath.

Will probly play T20 World champs then retire so he's here as a warm-up for that...seems this A-side is geared somewhat towards that comp.

Other than Hilfy, Pattinson, McKay, Siddle, Bollinger then Bird, CUmmins, Cutting, Starc in A-side plus McDermott and Coulter-Nile ... Aust have plenty of quicks around. If we were lacking depth yea, keep Lee ... but we have plenty of good quicks.

Aussies have lost first 2 games. Mean much-prob not as poms in season and we're not? If we lose 5-0 we lose #1 ODI status tho. Give players some experience in Eng conditions is important

Young quick Patrick Cummins injured again in his comeback games ... side strain this time ... on his way home! Banghead Head flag

Mitchell Johnson is just crap! just sayin ... Chuckle

Aussies not playing well at all, but only 3 problems.

They can't bat, bowl or field.
