Hate on him all you like, he deserved it Almost did it with no help at the Cavs, with a little support he was able to get it done at the Heat. How many will he finish with is the question now

I used to hate Lebron but he's going bald at 27, so I kind of feel sorry for him.

I don't hate LeBron for winning a championship, I hate LeBron for winning one with the Heat. He's from Ohio, drafted by the Cavs number one, made them a contender every season and when it got too hard and he couldn't do it himself he bailed and formed a "super team" with Wade and Bosh. He betrayed his city and former team because winning now and at all costs was more important. Loyalty is all but dead in sports. I have no respect for the guy anymore and he didn't deserve anything. No players deserves a championship, you earn it. The Heat bought it. And the worst part is, it seems so many people think that's ok... So in conclusion, Fuck the Heat and Fuck LeBron. He can shove that trophy right up is ass All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

But my main qn, and the one I discussed with Hammer earlier today is this: if Bron can maintain his sick all round numbers till he's ~40yrs old, and win 5 more titles before he's retired, how does he compare to MJ as the all time greatest?

I don't think Lebron will find it that easy to turn the Heat into a dynasty. DWade's body is aging fast, and Bosh is never going to be any better than he is now. On the West Coast, if OKC can keep Durant/Westbrook/Harden/Ibaka together, they'll definitely be a better team than the Heat in a couple years, if not next year.

Not to mention if Perry Jones turns out to be any good at all!

I think the Jones draft pick will make it easier for them to not keep Ibaka
No way they can fit extensions for both Harden & Ibaka on the books
Bigger issue will be who the coach is. Brooks turned down a 3yr/$11 million offer during the playoffs and his contract is up Saturday. There are stories out there that he might go to Portland & coach

I agree totally with Pooc, if he had won it with the Cavs, I'd have no problems with it. He felt he couldn't do it alone, so instead of trying to bring players to Cleveland, he goes and ditches the Cavs to create the big three in Miami. Total agreement with Gmoney, Perry Jones is to protect them from losing either Ibaka or Harden. Jones is a solid player, just plagued by injuries and had some issues with focusing in games, but he could turn out to be a solid pro.
