They knew he clearly had a drug problem early on and looked the other way while they were at the top of the ladder. They could have penalised him and sent him to rehab on their own accord possible before his addiction got the better of him. i agree but i think his family knew as well you would think between the lot of them someone would of put there hand up and made a stand i think we are all dead men/women walking ll its just a matter of time till all our times are up i feel sorry for his kid who will have to live up to all of this it will be hard for him to make it in the public eye and footy at least he wont have money problems dont hate the player hate the game

surely you would of thought he might of been sorted out Cousins on drugs chargeThe West Australian Updated March 28, 2012, 3:00 pm tweet62EmailPrint Update, 4.15pm: Former West Coast champion Ben Cousins has been released on bail after appearing in court charged with breaching bail conditions following a drugs arrest at Esperance Airport. Mr Cousins appeared in Esperance Magistrate’s Court this afternoon after he was allegedly caught with methylamphetamine shortly after arriving at Esperance last night. He was charged with one count of possessing methylamphetamine with intent to sell or supply. A substance believed to be methylamphetamine has been taken for testing. Police would not say how much of the substance was located, but people convicted of trafficking illicit drugs can lose their assets under WA’s tough proceeds of crime laws. The West Australian understands he had flown to Esperance from Perth and arrived about 7.15pm last night. He was granted bail after being charged by local police but it will be alleged he breached his bail conditions earlier today. dont hate the player hate the game

It's hard to believe this thread is still being bumped all these years later. He's really starting to spiral now.

Than no one was at the airport to pick him up except some journos. Back to magistrates court in Perth on Monday. No doubt a media circus will follow him Really hoped fatherhood would calm him down but it doesn't look like it. Could be in more trouble than the early settlers.
