In bigger news than finals, John McCarthy's career as an AFL footballer!! Tragic if true. www.adelaidenow.com.au/australian-sportsman-in-serious-incident-in-las-vegasSupposedly media already gathering at Alberton for a press release from the club.

I reckon the Dockers are a good chance to send the Crows packing in straight sets tonight. Got a vocal Crows crowd at AAMI to deal with but if they can silence them early they wont be push overs. Pavlich to lead by example again Tomorrow's game is what i'm excited about. Heading over tomorrow morning to be at the G at night. Really cant wait for it. Should be a highly emotion charged game for the Magpies after this week's event with there ex teammate and friend McCarthy. Good luck to the Pies fans but obviously i'm hoping we send you packing in straight sets

Bugga ... Freo strangled the crows early to lead by 5 goals in the 3rd ... but let Walker of the leash late in the 3rd quarter. ... they didnt miss McPharlin last week but did tonight ... Silvagni couldnt cut it. Strange to leave out Kepler Bradley, too. He couldve gone back. Go Pies for tonight Play for J-Mac. ^^^^^^^**************************^^^^^^^ Kochie, KT, Ken, KO ... getting it right! #weareportadelaide

very gutsy win by the boys tonight...the emotion of the week was obvious after the game with several players breaking down... great play by Ben Reid who has been a tower of strength the last few weeks...and nice to see Dids have a good first half... I'm ordering tickets for next weeks game as it's not at ANZ stadium... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Hot Pies and Mustard

Well played Pies - just watched full replay on Fox ... Reid was superb, Jolly, Thomas dominated 3rd term. Fox said game was at ANZ? Friday night? Pity I'm working Fri/Sat/Sun mornings or I'd come across for the game. maybe if I can swap a Sat shift ^^^^^^^**************************^^^^^^^ Kochie, KT, Ken, KO ... getting it right! #weareportadelaide

Pity I'm working Fri/Sat/Sun mornings or I'd come across for the game. maybe if I can swap a Sat shift apparently it is on at ANZ...I went on the ticket sight last night and they brought up a seating map of the SCG...so I thought I would definitely go... now I've found out it's at Homebush I'll have to have a re-think..would have to stay overnight at a hotel there because there is no public transport home to my area at that time of the night...and I don't drive... that's the reason I don't have a South Sydney season ticket anymore... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Hot Pies and Mustard

Congrats Jules and to your Pies as well. Has been said already but that third quarter was costly for WCE. Even the space of 5 mins where Thomas got 3 goals. Apart from that it was a brave effort from the Eagles. Cant help but think they did the wrong thing playing the 4 talls in the end. Lynch ended up getting subbed out and had no scoreboard impact
I always believed Goldsack would be a great replacement for Maxwell. Offers more flexibility and with Brown, Tarrant, Reid and the mid size who can play tall Harry O in the back line the extra height wasn't hugely missed
The G was a blast. My whirlwind trips over so i wait for next years fixtures now
