Let's get some brownlow chatter going, one of my favourite parts of the season is to take money from the TAB! My personal tip is a trifecta of Jobe Watson, Gary Ablett & Scott Thompson in that order. Onto team betting! Adelaide - Scott Thompson @ 1.80 Brisbane - Jack Redden @ 3.00 Carlton - Judd @ 3.00 Collingwood - Pendles @ 4.50 Freo - Pav @ 1.10 GWS - Giles @ 3.50 Geelong - Stevie J @ 13.00 Hawthorn - Franklin @ 7.00 or Rioli @ 26.00 Melbourne - Yuck North - Harvey @ 2.10 or Petrie @ 26.00 Port - Hartelett @ 6.00 Richmond - Delidio @ 7.00 Saints - Hayes @ 1.20 Sydney - Kennedy @ 1.20 West Coast - Cox @ 7.00 (sportingbet has him @ 12.00) Bulldogs - Griffen @ 4.50

I'm liking Scott Thompson to win the Charlie. Loving the following 2 bets: Most Votes (St.Kilda) - Nick Dal Santo ($3.50) Most Votes (Group A) - Sam Mitchell ($3.50) out of Mitchell, Kennedy, Joel Selwood, Beams, Deledio and Boyd

think Beams will win Pies points...and Toby Greene for GWS... even though Deledio racked up nearly as many DT points as Cotchin, Cotchin stands out in the crowd and will poll better.... but the little bald guy in the suns singlet will win the Brownlow...and in some ways it won't be fair....because GC are virtually a one-man team... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Hot Pies and Mustard

I prefer Dangerfield to over Thompson. I was liking him to take out the whole thing but have gone cold on him now. My big bet will probably be Josh Kennedy to be leading the race after round 10 or 11 @12s "I'm going to see the horse doctor today. How the horse became a doctor, I'll never know." Dwight K. Schrute.

I got on Cotchin when he was still at 9's at the TAB. Few rounds later and he'd shortened into 3's
As far as WC go i think the safe bet is Cox to poll most votes. Smokey to poll most votes - Beau Waters

Does the brownlow and an AA gig normally go hand in hand. Has their been many players to win brownlow without getting in the AA team? Didak Attack

My bets are in, whats yours?
Trifecta - Watson/Ablett/Thompson Leader @ R13 - Watson
Separate multis with Thompson, Mitchell & Kennedy into; Redden, Judd, Giles, Grimes & Delidio
Hail mary multi - Giles, Judd, Harvey, Grimes & Delidio @ $630
Plus pretty sure i've got some random stuff in there throughout the year.

Well done to Bomber captain, Jobe Watson a worthy winner on 30 votes. Trent Cotchin and Sam Mitchell second with 26 votes. Once Richmond move into the 8 with more wins Trent surely will win one in the next few years. Issue I have is GaBLETT jNR who polls best on ground votes when Suns lose 3 games by 60+ points but only polled 1 vote in their wins. ^^^^^^^**************************^^^^^^^ Kochie, KT, Ken, KO ... getting it right! #weareportadelaide

There was a bit of talk after Ablett didn't poll in the final 3 rounds when he prob should have, talk is at that stage umpires had in their mind that GC was not going any where so decided to stop voting for Ablett opposed to picking up 9 votes in his fist 3 matches...prob hard done by not to finish in the top 3 the way he was polling early. Get on Judd at $21 for next year, ridiculous value if he stays fit in a winning Blues side!

Well done to Watson. Deserved winner. I thought Cotchin would poll more 3 voters late but unfortunately not. I think the real winner at the end of the night was Rory Sloane but. Batting well above his average http://resources3.news.c...-and-belinda-riverso.jpg

Good question - I might research that Shane Woewodin playing for Melbourne won the Brownlow in 2000 but missed AA selection. From 1953-1988 the AA team was selected from carnivals which werent held every year, often every 3 years and as these matches were between state teams like SA, Vic, WA etc players from all state leagues not just VFL were picked. ^^^^^^^**************************^^^^^^^ Kochie, KT, Ken, KO ... getting it right! #weareportadelaide
