This is obviously just to boost attendance for the team and the league. More power to him though to still be playing at 44. NEW YORK - Dennis Rodman has signed with the ABA Tijuana Dragons to play a limited number of games this season.
"He'll be playing anywhere from six to 10 games this year, starting on Nov. 24," agent Darren Prince said Thursday. "Hopefully, an NBA team can see he can still play. He's in the best shape of his life at 44."
Dragons owner Carlos Atilano is ecstatic about the addition of Rodman, a seven-time NBA rebounding champion.
"While we are sure that Dennis will help us generate fan support from both San Diego and Tijuana, another reason he was signed is because he can still play at a high level," Atilano said. "We are thrilled to have him as part of the team."
Prince said because of Rodman's travel schedule, he's expected to play about two games a month between November and March.
Rodman last played in the NBA in 2000. All bets are one unit ($50) unless otherwise noted.

wow, still going at 44 it would be great to see if he's still got it in him to play at the NBA level. I saw this documentary a while back on his previous comeback attempt and that didn't go all that well so hopefully he's got everything worked out this time.

I've always liked Rodman (except those Spurs years), so I hope he can make it back. But playing in only a limited number of games isn't going to show pro scouts that he can handle an NBA schedule. Hopefully he doesn't drink too much cerveza and stays away from the donkey shows..
