Stan the man has got in trouble again. What a waste of a footballer, at 34 years of age he should still be playing in some leagues. Has anyone got pictures of him recently.
Former England international and Liverpool star Stan Collymore will face court in Cairns after being arrested outside a nightclub.
Collymore, 34, was arrested at 2.50am (AEST) Tuesday after allegedly refusing to obey an order to move on from police who say they saw him behaving in a disorderly manner outside The Woolshed nightclub in the northern Queensland city.
A Queensland police spokeswoman said Collymore was bailed to appear in the Cairns Magistrates Court on Friday.
A report in London tabloid The Sun quoted a British tourist who said they witnessed the scene. They said Cairns police showed no recognition when Collymore yelled: "Do you know who I am?"
"He threatened to set his lawyers on them. They shook their heads and slapped on the cuffs," The Sun quoted the tourist as saying.
The incident was said to have begun when Collymore allegedly got into a dispute with other English people inside the nightclub and they were ejected.
Collymore was one of the biggest names in English football in the 1990s, earning huge transfer moves to Nottingham Forest and Liverpool.

Couldn't be too bad a player he was an Ex England striker. Last year when he was part of that sex escpades where he would visit 'dogging sites' to have sex with couples, almost broke his marriage what ever was left of it. Ha Ha - I have actually been to that "nightclub" in Cairns and it is more like a backpackers spit and sawdust pub. I find it hard to believe anyone could get thrown out of there and even more astonishing anyone would use the phrase "do you know who I am" to avoid being thrown out - an absolute hole of a place, makes the Walkabout pubs look classy !!
