Ferguson(NZ) out of a place here and title slipping from his grasp as Birger Jørgensen`s(Denmark) lead increases as he takes 3rd and extends his lead to 13 points.Ferguson(NZ) clings on to second but now finds himself only 3 points clear of Norway`s Eirik Høitomt who takes maximum points with the win here. With one heat to go in this years championship - to win the title Ferguson would now need to win the final heat and have Birger Jørgensen (Denmark)finish no higher than 6th in the 9 horse field.A win for Norway`s Eirik Høitomt who currently sits in 3rd place on 144 points would not be enough to see him take the title but he still has a shot at finishing 2nd ahead of Ferguson(NZ)

A dissapointing end to the day for NZ`s Peter Ferguson finishing last of the 9 runners as his drive Einar S.E. galloped his way out of business. With that the Title went the way of Denmark as Birger Jørgensen finished in 6th place on Jackson Brodde, the 4 points collected here added to his total coming into the final race sees him take out the 2009 World Drivers Championship on 164 points from NZ`s Peter Ferguson who led the series for so long and must have been dissapointed with the way things finished today on 148 points,1 point clear of Norway`s Eirik Høitomt on 147 points.

Gareth Rattray`s 2nd placing in todays final heat was still not enough to see him move of the bottom of the table and as far as memories go there were few - but he will look back on day 2 of competition where he won a heat of the championship with fond memory of his time in Norway.
