It had to lose eventually and with the big weight and poor ride it lost.
If we see the real Chak it will win but going on the last run and nothing else Plain Magic was far superior.
Lets hope class prevails and its wining again.

I think you may recall me saying that Scenic Blast was inferior to Weekend Hussler, and I was ridiculed for it. Scenic Blast is a good sprinter, but IMO, clearly a length or two off a fit and firing WH. Let's hope WH can get back and show the doubters how good he really is. As for Chak, they can go well and look the goods going through the grades, but once they reach their correct level, the wins become harder to get. Plain Magic is in great form, but is no superstar, I agree with Nathan, she was a tad overhyped. Banner by Pooc!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fuk6e5hEeYI

I was one of the people that agree'd with you there Saintly. Smiddy was on the SB team. I tend to get a bit too excited about some horses, shoot me Smiddy.

THAT IS ONE MEAN-LOOKING ANIMAL! Chak was stabled next to Mustard at Rosehill yesterday...now Mustard is not the best-tempered horse around...as J McNair will testify...but Chak made him look like a pussycat. Thought for a while they would have a kicking contest...no lower barrier between them...and they weren't happy together. Luckily both strappers kept a close eye on them. Chak is fairly big and looks blacker than brown, alert, but mean mean mean. Like your worst enemy. I was surprised it's racing colours weren't purple since everything else was...bridle, restraining straps, blanket, goodie bag, strapper's shirt and bag...the purple made her seem darker in skin-tone. Looks like a genuine horse...you would swear it's a colt...but then Montana F is so big she looks like an entire. Great contest between them and it looks like it will continue in the Coolmore... No opinions, no point.

Have read on another site that Chak is virtually retired and may be up for sale as a broodmare...wrecked tendon... shame...with Montana F back bigger than ever I was looking forward to some clashes... No opinions, no point.
