Funnily enough, we get the ND/Pitt game on ESPN here in Oz today. Might give me a chance to see what college ball is all about while cheering on Pitt to win me some money. "I'm going to see the horse doctor today. How the horse became a doctor, I'll never know." Dwight K. Schrute.

NCAA Basketball Picks for January 25th: Seton Hall First Half +7 Seton Hall Full Game +12.5 NC State First Half +4 Ohio State Full Game -7.5
Scariest pick on board is the last one, Ohio State. This is truly a battle of two of most dominant bigs this year in college hoops, Sullinger for Ohio State and JaJuan Johnson for Purdue. Neither team has a player who can guard these guys and it will be a real test for the #1 Buckeyes. There are many who think that Purdue can hang with Ohio State, and they really could, however I smell a double digit victory with David Lighty playing out of his mind from the perimeter, driving to the hoop and dishing it to Sullinger for open looks from the blocks all day.
Good luck if you blindly tail, but I do always recommend doing your own research.

WOW! Great day of college hoops going 4-0! None of the picks were in doubt from the start! Ohio State managed to crush Purdue, Seton Hall managed to pull off a HUGE upset winning by a large margin and NC State actually led at the half! Great day for all I hope!

Did a little tweaking with my picking and so far hasn't been bad. I'm hoping the winning continues. I went on a slight cold streak earlier but have bounced back big time.

NCAA Basketball picks for January 26th: Providence First Half +3 Providence Full Game +5.5 BYU First Half -2.5 George Mason First Half -10 Louisville -7
Scariest game on board... BYU first half. San Diego State is one of the most complete teams in NCAA basketball this season. They can basically do it all and this is a face-off between two Mountain West Conference teams who are both top 10 in the nation. BYU plays well at home and normally start out strong out the gate while SDSU usually starts off slow then punishes their opponents in the second half once they get into their groove. I'd consider taking SDSU ML for the game, but I'd rather play BYU for the half.
Went a perfect 4-0 yesterday, but I could easily go 0-5 today, so PLEASE use good money management here. If you had bet $100 per game yesterday, do it again. If these bets go 0-5 you'd only be down $100... or if you up your bets because of my heater and bet $200 and go 0-5 you'd be in the hole for $600. But tail my picks or not, please try to do some research as often as possible. Good luck to all!

What do you think about this one : LSU at Tennessee LSU +16
I got it at +16 bit now it is at +15.5 I took LSU
You really think Providence can get over Villanova with the spread . Providence are 1-7 last 8 and Villanova 12-1 last 13..

I really think Providence can do it. I put more on the first half, however I truly feel that Nova is up for a letdown. With the line at -5.5 on such a hot Villanova team against a supposedly far inferior Providence team punters are going to jump all over Nova. Providence has screwed me earlier in the season, but I think it's the right play to back them today. Nothing against LSU, but I rather not play any SEC conference game with Tennessee involved. Bruce Pearl is suspended for conference play and they've played extremely inconsistent with him out of the picture. They blow out teams one night and lose bad the next, you never know what you are gonna get. One thing is for sure, 15.5 points is A LOT of chalk. But with such an inconsistent Tennessee team laying that many points is a bit suspicious to me. I smell a Tennessee win in a blowout and since you're on the other side, I won't play it because you have been hot on your picks as well dude.

I went 2-2 with George Mason game being postponed. Could have been better, but I'll take a winning day overall since NBA did ok.

Looking back on yesterday's card:
Providence rolled from the opening like I had predicted. It was a bad spot for Nova after the run they've been on lately. Providence dominated the boards and shot exceptionally well all game. This one had trap written all over it and I didn't fall for it... if I did... I'd be 0-4 for the day.
Louisville was down big at the end of the half, but I knew they could come back, and they did! However they just couldn't hold on to the lead they built which would have gotten us the cover and ended up barely winning the game.
BYU, don't know what the hell happened with them. SDSU is definitely one of the best teams in the nation, however with the way they start games, they should have been down a fair amount at the half. But BYU's offense couldn't get it going until the 2nd half which unfortunately wasn't when we needed the points.
George Mason v Towson game was postponed unfortunately. I really liked that first half -10 play as I felt GMason was going to roll to start the game and may let up a bit and let Towson back in for a backdoor cover. Didn't want to risk it so I played the half... that never happened. Game is being played early today and being that there is usually no home court advantage with such an early shit game and not much of a crowd I may stay away.

No school today here ,,big snow storm , couldn t search much for games with kids around GL Nice! I like South Alabama 1st half too man, might play full game too. Staying away from Idaho for me. Idaho is the better team, but isn't the line a bit fishy where it stands? We're talking a LA Tech team who is 0-7 in WAC play versus a Vandal team who has been fairly solid all season and doing well in conference play. I smell a trap here, not playing it, but I will be rooting for you to win this one!

NCAA Basketball Picks for January 27th: George Mason First Half -10.5 (I cannot help myself. Something is up with this line for the half and the full game. Towson has been playing close all season, just not getting it done, but the line is this high? Don't play if you can't handle a close one) Kent State First Half +1 Central Michigan Full Game -1.5
That's it for the early games, I will likely come back with more later. I see a lot of action on that Vandy v. Miss game, many great punters are on Miss but I'm leaning Vandy... a bit scary for me so I won't be playing it. Any thoughts?

I'd think that Utah State will smash the shit out of San Jose State, but I'd rather play the first half line than the full game on that one.

Score was freakin' tied with less than 3 minutes left and they go into the half with a 12 point lead? !!! I usually don't give up hope or chalk up wins with any amount of time left on the clock but this one looked real bad. WINNER!

Ok so the final tally for the day with the Indiana +2 push and the Indiana outright win is... 3-1-1. NCAA record still on fire! Can't keep it up, remember that, but I can try!

For those wondering, the two early plays I sent to acadiepoker were:
Brown Full Game +13.5 or +14 Pennsylvania Full Game -5
Both look pretty solid so far... but I did not play them, they were only leans. I have many NBA plays and didn't want to risk money on leans.
