Just doing my supercoach team...

so much for DPP's...they are thin on the ground and those that are there are expensive...

so what's the point...

half the fun of DT or SC is the DPP's...

should have left them alone or added more...

what's the use of the new rules if there's no-one to exchange...

Banghead

I'm more of a Supercoach fan to be honest. It's so hard to fit your team under the 10mill cap! So many guns but no money haha

Got my 30 selected for the time being. Very scrappy but and hasnt left me much room to play with. Went with 4 GWS (Bugg, Shiel, Treloar and Giles), got no Power, Suns or Crows

No major surprises. A few first timers. Taking a punt on Lake this year for this first time hoping he can stay injury free and produce some heavy marking and kicking games. Dunno about super coach yet

Copy Chuckle you make me laugh Smiddy. Where's my Pendlebury, where's my Ablett, where's my Smith, where's my Stevie J, where's my Waters to name just a few. Where's Tom Walsh, Jared Polec and Koby Stevens in Dr DT?

Its only a start but the Doc has picked stars that a lot of coaches will pick. I'm sure a majority of teams would be lining up with Goddard (be crazy not to), Franklin (ditto) Cox (ditto), Swan (ditto), Chapman (ditto), Martin as a forward, Fyfe as a forward

Only contentious choice would be Lake because his had the best part of a year out but i think he can be a steal

Obviously my team is only spec at moment...pre-season form will decide the final line-up...

but I only have Pendles and Martin out of that group...

like smiddy I looked elsewhere for my ruckmen...Cox totally overpriced...and I've left Goddard out at present because he started slow last year...

if he does it again he could drop in price...even a little...

there is some value to be had in players returning from whole-season injury...eg. Lennie Hayes, Scott Gumbleton...but as I said, I want to see them front up first..

GWS players will probably bugger up the team like GCS last year...they were in, then out, then five weeks later back in...used up too many trades...will be very wary of taking them...

the salary cap is very tight though...

Head

Understandable. Cox's value will only drop i think. He'll need a big average to keep up that price tag. I reckon Swan, Boyd and Chapman are worth every cent but. As i said its only scratchy at the moment. Already traded out Cox and Lake for Sandi and Birchall. Got rid of Hodge as well. Bring on the NAB Cup and a better chance to watch some footy

swan boyd and chappy will all go down at some point imo

start with the cheaper ones then once gws gc or rookies go up you do the upgrade and the you have some left over its pretty easy stuff

That works if you're just going for league win, guaranteed you will not win the car without a guy like Swan or Boyd from the start unless you hit the jackpot and pick a unique that gets the same average, but there is no chance of that. Way too many points to catch up on by the time you get them into your team, whereas teams with Swan, Boyd, or Gaj from the start will be the ones in front.

I've got both a Supercoach and DT comp set up at Thoroughbred Village..

since we need 18 players this year do you want to go in on those comps?

Only a few in at the moment from TBV...like 3 or 4...

Supercoach code: 611524 (TBV SPORTS)

Dream Team code: 255277 (TBV SPORTS)

since a lot of us here are also on TBV, joining these comps makes sense rather than setting up another lot and having the empty places filled with strangers...

Easy
