Does anyone out there have a tablet? (Not the medical kind Head)

I'm thinking about buying a Sony Tablet S but I just wanna know if I can get any first hand experience from others that own a tablet.

I've had a Dell Streak for over a year, but it is the combo mobile/tablet with 5" screen, I love it.

I've got an HP Touchpad, but only because they clearanced them out. Now just waiting for a beta version of Android to be ready and I'm good to go Mr. Green

But yeah, they are fun.

Ipad 3 might be out next week so possibly get a good deal on Ipad 2

I know a lot of people like them, but I can't see laying out the cash for one. A nice smartphone, a laptop, and a desktop are enough for me. I did get my son a netbook, which I know have fallen out of style. I find them more useful than a tablet, though.

I did install the consumer preview of Windows 8 in a virtual machine on my laptop. If you like Windows and you want a tablet, I'd suggest waiting for it. It will suck ass on a desktop or laptop, but it's much more tablet-friendly. I find it useless for my purposes, but I can see why it would be useful on a tablet.

did you buy one hazzah?

I upgraded my phone yesterday and got the Samsung Galaxy Note. The thing is a beast and not for everyone but is basically a tablet and phone in one as it's got a 5.3" screen.

I know it's been out for a few months internationally as it' just came to the US a few weeks back.
