i'm lookin at entertainment ....
my favorites....
#1 - the godfather....it's all about marlon brando...and james caan....and robert duvall....i didn't dig it so much focusin on pacino...
#2 - the hangover....comedy meets mystery....it was friggin brilliant....the sequel wasn't...
#3 - butch cassidy and the sundance kid.....i used to envy people who were watchin this movie for the first time...redford and newman are so great together.....
#4 - the wizard of oz.....i still don't know why dorothy wants to go back to friggin kansas, but the film is fantasy dynamite....
#5 psycho....gotta have a horror film, and anthony perkins is as creepy as it gets..."a boy's best friend is his mother"....

annie hall, dr stangelove, and jaws....
woody allen. stanley kubrick, and steven spielberg are the greatest film makers of all time....
i may have laughed the hardest i ever have the first time i saw dr strangelove......

1. Inherit The Wind...the original version...a thinking person's movie... 2. The Best Years of Our Lives...absolute realism of soldiers adjusting back to "normal life" after WW2...won a stack of Oscars and never ages...brilliant... 3. The Big Country...best western, though no indians...the tale of a man so sure of his manhood he feels he doesn't have to "show off" to prove it.... 4. Them....the scariest movie because it could happen...eeeeeeee... 5. South Pacific...best musical, best score....funny, racially controversial and makes me cry every time when Joe is killed..."so far away, Philladelphia, PA" ...makes you realise how many young men lost their lives defending the Pacific paradise... honourable mentions to Foul Play...so funny my brother-in-law fell out of his theatre chair from laughing...Breaking Away...and Field of Dreams... ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
